Brookside Properties is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at Passenger Flats, a 207-apartment-home community in Chattanooga, TN.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows multifamily maintenance, can lead a team, and takes pride in keeping a community running smoothly. You’ll oversee day-to-day maintenance operations while helping ensure residents have a safe, well-maintained place to call home.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience required
• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC certification required
• EPA certification required
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and carpentry
• Experience with apartment turns, work orders and preventive maintenance
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization and team leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced community

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily maintenance operations for a 207-unit apartment community
• Supervise, train and support maintenance team members
• Coordinate work orders, apartment turns and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and general repairs
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Help maintain the property’s buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas
• Monitor safety practices and ensure maintenance work meets company standards
• Respond to resident maintenance concerns professionally and efficiently
• Keep maintenance operations organized, timely and focused on quality
