Key Responsibilities

As an Area Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple apartment communities within the Nashville market.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of multifamily communities
• Support and coach onsite teams to improve performance and resident satisfaction
• Drive occupancy, leasing, and revenue goals
• Monitor property financials, budgets, and operating expenses
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and local regulations
• Assist with staffing, hiring, training, and employee development
• Conduct regular property visits and support community teams as needed
• Partner with Community Managers to improve property performance and resident retention
• Maintain high standards for curb appeal, maintenance, and customer service

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of Property Manager experience required in multifamily housing
• Previous multisite experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy, leasing performance, and operations
• Ability to travel regularly between properties throughout the region
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• Lease-up experience
• Experience with Entrata property management software is a plus
